Embedded Images
Reports may contain embedded images. An embedded image is one in which the image itself is placed within the report. If you copy the report RDL file the image goes with it. In order to refer to an embedded image you place an Image report item in the report and set its properties to point to the embedded image's name.
- Embedded Image Name
- This is name the image is referred to in the report. This name must be unique amoung all embedded images. The selected image displays below in its original size. When you refer to the image via an Image report item you can control the size that is displayed within the report.
- Import button
- Brings an image file into the report.
- Paste button
- Brings the current clipboard image into the report.
- Remove button
- Removes an embedded image from the report. All Image report items that refer to this image will need to be changed.
- MIME Type
- The type of the image. This is for information purposes only.
